Oregon's Willamette Valley is a beautiful green valley nestled
between two mountain ranges. The Willamette Valley and the Wine Country was
named the "Most Romantic" destination on the 2nd Annual Fodor's Choice
Destinations list. The Oregon Wine Board was created as a semi-independent state
agency that replaces the Oregon Wine Advisory Board when Governor Ted Kulongoski
signed the House Bill 3442 into law on September 23, 2003. The Board is charged
with supporting enological, viticultural, and economic research and the
promotion of grape growing and winemaking in Oregon. The Wine Experience Radio Show is the only nationally syndicated
feature program about wine on the air. Pacific Northwest wine country, its wineries and wines can all be
thoroughly explored and enjoyed using Wines Northwest -- a one-stop, interactive
tour guide full of maps and information about the wines and wine regions within
Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and British Columbia.
